Weinberg Campus Technology Park
The Weinberg Campus Technology Park is the innovation location for the life sciences and materials science industry in the region. With 134 hectares, it is the largest in Central Germany. Around 250 start-ups have found the best conditions since its foundation in 1993. Today, more than 100 companies and institutes employing approx. 5,500 people are located here. Biochemists, biotechnologists, materials scientists, pharmacists, agronomists and nutritionists from the most important non-university research institutions are all working side by side here. – Here, ideas become innovations and are turned into spin-off companies.

TGZ Halle Technologie- and Gründerzentrum Halle GmbH (TGZ) and Bio-Center Halle GmbH build and operate state-of-the-art research facilities for biotechnology, biomedicine, medical technology, environmental and process engineering, nanotechnology as well as information and automation technology.
With our services we form the interface between applied research, development and production. In addition to building management, this also includes the planning and support of investment projects, the organization of trade fair and congress appearances, support for research and development projects within the framework of project management, the mediation of contacts to science and industry as well as the support of growth of highly innovative start-ups from the core industries of the Technology Park.
